And Lonely Planet agrees, with this being the only trail that features in Wales. They say that a new wave of independent growers - vineyards, bakers, brewers, foragers, artisans and innovative chefs - have been working together to create a must-visit food scene. Tourism site Visit Pembrokreshire agrees saying: 'Over many years, Pembrokeshire farmers and fishermen have built a fantastic reputation in Wales and across the UK for their high-quality produce.' It features weekend 'gourmet trails' for every budget and taste bud. The introduction says that trail they have identified 'spotlights the region's chefs and producers and their love of nature and reinvention'. The Gourmet Trails Europe guide says that the food scene in the Welsh county is 'booming like the Atlantic surf with producers and chefs playing up foraged flavours'. The guide features the 'Rising Tides of Pembrokeshire' alongside the likes of experiences in Tuscany, San Sebastian and the Black Forest.
